Honor Your Body as a Temple

We need a wake-up call when it comes to health, and there are many stats that reveal this. In Canada, one in four adults and one in 10 children have clinical obesity. Recent studies indicate that less than five percent of American adults get the recommended 30 minutes of physical activity per day. What is everyone doing if they aren’t exercising? Usually watching television. Americans and Canadians are said to watch four to five hours of television per day. People are also eating more and more fast food. Between 2004 and 2014, consumer spending on fast food increased by over 30 percent in the U.S.

A healthy body is life. Literally. Period. Simple. That’s it. Without health, we have nothing. The pleasures of life cannot be enjoyed if we’re ill and certainly not if we’re dead. Nobody wants to deal with pain, constipation, dizziness, nausea, or any other symptom. These symptoms drag us down as we go about our day, sometimes keep us at home, or even put us in the hospital.
